Structora is a tutoring service. We do not write essays and we do not sell papers.

A note from our founder

Why we started Structora

Most of the people who write to us are not students in a dorm. They are nurses, drivers, accountants and parents who went back to school, or who moved to this country and now write every day in a language they learned as adults. They are smart, and they know exactly what they want to say. The English is what slows them down.

The usual options did not fit them. Essay services write the paper for you, which is dishonest and teaches you nothing. Free tools fix commas but cannot tell you why a paragraph does not land. What people actually needed was a patient person who reads the draft with them, asks the right questions, and leaves the writing in their hands.

That is the whole idea. You write every word. Your tutor helps you see what to change and why, so the next thing you write is easier. Your first session is free, so you can find out if it helps before you spend anything.

    How it works

    1. You book a free first session. Pick a time that fits around your job and your family. Tell us what you are writing and when it is due. There is nothing to pay for this first one.

    2. You meet your tutor on a live video call. Bring a draft, a few notes, or just the assignment. Your tutor reads it with you, asks questions, and shows you what is working and what needs another look.

    3. You do the writing, with notes to guide you. After the call you get written notes. You make the changes yourself, in your own words, and book another session when you are ready.

    What you get after every session

    Short written notes, in plain English, so nothing from the call gets lost. You keep them, and the next session starts from them.

    We do not put faces on a sales page. We do hold every tutor to the same standards.

    What a tutor does, and does not do

    We want this to be clear before you book. Here is exactly what to expect.

    A tutor will

    • Ask the questions that get you to your point.
    • Explain grammar, flow and structure so you can fix them.
    • Show techniques with examples you can reuse.
    • Send written notes after every session.

    A tutor will not

    • Write or rewrite your work.
    • Sell pre-written papers.
    • Run your words through an AI generator.
    • Replace your voice with theirs.

    Is this cheating?

    No. Getting feedback on your writing is how most people learn to write well. Many colleges run writing centers for exactly this kind of help, and a tutor here works the same way.

    What crosses the line is someone else writing your work for you. We do not do that, and we will tell you so if you ask.

    If your school or your employer has rules about outside help, read them and share them with your tutor. We will work inside those rules.

    Common questions

    English is my second language. Is this for me?

    Yes. Many people come to us because they know what they want to say but are not sure how it sounds in English. Your tutor goes at your pace, explains things in plain words, and helps you hear the difference yourself.

    What happens in the free first session?

    You meet a tutor on a video call and talk about what you need to write. If you have a draft, you look at it together. You leave with a few clear next steps, whether or not you book again.

    What does an online writing tutor actually do?

    An online writing tutor works with you on your own writing over a live video call. They read your draft with you, ask questions that help you find your point, explain what is unclear and why, and show you techniques you can reuse. You make every change yourself.

    What does it cost after the first session?

    It depends on how much help you want. Your tutor explains the options at the end of the free session, and you do not have to continue if it is not the right fit. There are no subscriptions and nothing is billed automatically.

    I am short on time. Can you just write it for me?

    No. We understand deadlines are real, especially when you are working and raising a family. What we can do is help you work faster: a clear outline in one session often saves hours of staring at a blank page.
